Originally a Salt House used by the Benedictine Monks who traded Salt at Exeter Cathedral, this Devon Restaurant with Rooms is situated in the Sid Valley just 1 mile from Sidmouth and close to Lyme Regis, Honiton and Cathedral City of Exeter.

The perfect bed & breakfast to stay and explore or escape for a romantic break, wedding or honeymoon. There are many fantastic walks in the immediate area with the Jurassic coastal path and the famous Donkey Sanctuary just up the hill from us.

Both chefs by trade with an eye for meticulous detail we pride ourselves on using the best of Devon's larder with home grown or organic produce wherever possible. Our 2 AA Rosette restaurant provides elegant surroundings in which to enjoy a relaxing lunch or romantic dinner. As everything is made on the premises people with dietary requirements have no need to worry.
